Emerging Writer's Contest - 2013

Submit between February 1, 2013 at noon and April 2, 2013 at noon

Entry Fee: $24 for non-subscribers; free for subscribers

Three prizes of $1,000 each and publication in Ploughshares will be given annually for a poem or group of poems, a short story, and an essay. Writers who have not published a book or chapbook are eligible. Submit three to five poems or up to 5,000 words of prose with a $24 entry fee, which includes a subscription to Ploughshares, by April 2. Visit the website for complete guidelines.
