Road Trip Writing Competition

28 April 2009

With a swank and beach-ready new bod, the new MINI and Airstream designed by Republic of Fritz Hansen features furnishings and trappings for every beach bum both inside and out. Want to bring a little piece of this “rad” design into your own home? Participate in our writing contest to win a set of four Fritz Hansen Series SevenTM chairs.

Tell us: if you could go on a road trip with this set up, where would you go? What would you do? Who would you take with you?

Would you surf the beaches of Portugal, or camp out in the woods of southern Germany? Would you make a grand entrance driving into a Roman piazza, or tour the small villages of the English countryside? Maybe pack up your scuba gear and head to the Mediterranean for some under water adventure?

Send us a story about your adventure in 250 words or less and post it below. The winning entry will be selected by the MINI Space jury. Stories will be picked based on originality, and style.

To Enter:
1) Watch a video, check out the photo gallery, and read the article about the MINI and Airstream designed by Republic of Fritz Hansen to get inspired.
2) Write your story
3) Leave it as a comment on this contest page.
4) Wait to hear if your story is the lucky winner.

Competition will end on May 29th, 2009 at 11:59 GMT.

(There is no legal recourse. Winners will be selected by jury selection. The judges’ decision is final. Prizes are not transferable or refundable.)
