Page To Fame Online Writing Competition

26 April 2010

PageToFame is an online writing competition with multiple rounds and thousands of readers. Authors start by submitting a single page of their manuscript (250 words) that is then rated by the general public on a scale of 1-5. Pages with high ratings are elevated to round 2, where authors may submit five pages for rating. There are 4 rounds of PageToFame, with the final round requiring the submission of a full manuscript. Between each round, elevated pages are read and rated by our panel of judges, which include literary agents and publishing professionals. At any time, the judges have to option of offering authors representation.

How to enter: Go to and click “submit your first page.”

Restrictions: Must be 13+ years old

Prizes: PageToFame prizes are different than most competitions. Authors have access to the ratings they receive from the general public, as well as feedback from literary agents (if they are elevated past the first round). Authors who make it to the final round also have a greatly improved chance securing representation with a top-notch professional literary agent, who will work to get a strong commercial publishing contract.

Entry fee(s): $9.95

Closing Date: None, PageToFame is an ongoing contest that is constantly accepting new pages for rating.

Judges: Literary Agents: Rebecca Strauss, Elizabeth Winick, Tamar Rydzinski, Dawn Michelle-Frederick, and Abigail Koons.
