4 November 2010

PPooDD is a cooperative and collaborative travel writing project holding monthly writing competitions to attract new membership and reward current members. There is no entry fee, but you must be an active participant in the project to enter.
November – Encounters With Animals
December – Music
January – Christmas
Closing date is the final day of the month
An ‘active participant’ on the site submits three new and original pieces of work in the month to
and comments upon, improves, edits and advises other members on at least six pieces of work.
All entries must be ‘travel writing’, and exactly what that means is an open issue, but the participatory aspects of the project should identify when a piece is not travel writing. Poetry is permitted.

And should be:
About the darker seamier side of life: sickness, sex, drugs, crime, grime, whaling, death, danger, recklessness, dangerous places, terrorism, eating yak.
