The Bare Hands International Poetry & Photography Postcard Competition 2013
We are delighted to be running our postcard competition again! Four winners will be selected and there will be a shared cash prize of €400. The two winning poems and two winning photographs of the competition will be turned into 2,000 beautiful postcards distributed to leading independent bookshops around the world including Dublin, London, Edinburgh, Derry, Galway, Cork, Paris, Berlin, New York, San Francisco, Los Angeles, Melbourne, Greece, Sydney, Toronto & Vancouver. How To Enter
Please select the ‘Competition €5’ choice from the PayPal dropdown on our website then click the buy now button. Please copy and paste your PayPal Transaction ID into the body of your email submission.
Poetry: Mark the subject field as ‘Competition Entry Poetry’ and send maximum three poems of under twenty lines each within the body of an email to email@example.com
Photography: Mark the subject field as ‘Competition Entry Photography’ and send maximum three photographs as jpeg attachments to firstname.lastname@example.org and please ensure that your images are high enough quality for printing

The theme of the competition is Bare Hands – please make sure your poetry/photography is bare hands related 😉
The competition fee for one entry is €5 for maximum three poems or three photographs. Multiple submissions are accepted and you are allowed to enter both categories.
The deadline is March 31st 2013. The winners will be announced in May and the postcards will be distributed to independent bookshops around the world in June 2013.
The four winners will receive a cash prize of €100 each. Four highly commended entries in each category will also be published online and their names will also appear on the distributed postcards. Click here to see that ones from last year.
