Call for submissions: Christopher Fielden’s Writing Challenges

24 January 2017

Adverb Challenge:
We sold 101 copies of Adverbially Challenged Volume 1 on the run up to Christmas, so we donated £101 to First Story at the beginning of January. The charity asked me to say a big thank you to everyone involved. If you haven’t purchased your copy yet, you can do so here.
We’ve almost reached the next milestone – 200 submitted stories. This means Adverbially Challenged Volume 2 will go into production soon. If you want to be in the book, you can submit your stories here. Be quick – there are only a few spaces left.

Nonsense Challenge
We’re also over halfway to our goal of 100 stories for the first nonsense challenge anthology. There have been some amazing submissions so far. You can read them and submit your own stories on the nonsense challenge page.

Sensory Overload Challenge
This is a new challenge, conceived by Allen Ashley. We’ll be launching it in March 2017. You can learn a bit more about it (and see a wonderful photo of me and Allen that definitely hasn’t been anywhere near Photoshop) on the main writing challenges page.

Preposition Challenge
This is another new challenge, conceived by Ville Nummenpää. We’ll be launching that one later in the year. Again, see the main writing challenges page for details.
