We’re running our first ever Poetry Contest here at the Tennessee Williams Festival in New Orleans!

Here are the details:
Tennessee Williams/New Orleans Literary Festival Poetry Writing Contest. Judge: Louisiana Poet Laureate Darrell Bourque. 2-4 unpublished poems of any theme with combined length of up to 400 lines.

Prize: $1000, public reading and VIP Festival pass($500 value) at 25th anniversary Festival (March 23-27, 2011), publication in Louisiana Cultural Vistas.

Deadline: 8/15/2010

Entry fee: $20
